A New Hope Animal Foundation

History of A New Hope Animal Foundation
A New Hope Animal Foundation was founded in 2005 in response to the need to help animals in the Placer Count Animal Shelter with socialization, care and enrichment and to help promote and facilitate their adoption into homes within the community. We felt that by establishing a positive relationship with Placer County Animal Services, we could best serve the community and the animals in need by working together for the animal’s and community benefit. A New Hope is comprised of a dedicated group of volunteers committed to positive community service and to supporting Placer County20Animal Services who have successfully helped to reduce euthanasia rates, improve conditions at PCAS and educated the public about responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals. We’ve also provided disaster support for PCAS and worked tireless for the humane treatment of animals.

A New Hope Goals and Mission

A New Hope is dedicated to reducing the euthanasia of adoptable animals and enhancing the lives of those animals who find themselves at the Placer County Animal Shelter through programs designed for community involvement, education and socialization.
We believe that with environmental enrichment, positive behavior modification and compassionate human touch and interaction, we ca n reduce stress and improve the lives of PCAS animals and promote their adoptability. By providing community support, we can help animals to remain in their homes.  A New Hope is especially dedicated to those animals that need more help to find lasting homes, the medically impaired, the young and aged and the behaviorally challenged or stressed animals and those breeds that have more difficulty finding homes and require foster care. We also strive to help people keep their companion animals in their homes in time of crises.  A New Hope Animal Foundation can best provide services to Placer County Animal Services due to our commitment to positive community service, our dedicated, trained volunteers and long track recor d of services and relationship PCAS.
