Adopting a New Pet
Our goal is to help match the right new pet with the right family and help to ensure that both the new pet and the family are prepared for a lasting relationship. Our puppies are well-socialized to ensure they will grow up to be social animals and our dogs are crate trained, socialized and taught the basics of relationship based (science based) training techniques. Our Adoption Process
The first step in our adoption process is to select a dog you are interested in and fill out an adoption application. Once your application is received, a visit with the dog and foster home will be scheduled. Our process also includes a home visit and both pre and post-adoption support. The adoption donation includes the animals altering, microchip, microchip registration and vaccivaccinations. Some of the animals advertised are housed at Placer County Animal Services at 11251 B Avenue, Auburn. For any of the animals at the Auburn animal shelter, you'll need to fill out a Placer County Animal Shelter application that you can get at the sheltshelter.

A note from Jake's adopters, Steve and Dawn - "Jake is thriving at home! Steve and I can not even remember life without him. Every Saturday we take him to the hills to explore, he loves his peanut butter kongs and has a ball with all of our friends kids! I'd have to say that cuddling is far and away his favorite thing. Thank you guys for all of your hard work, he truly is an amazing puppy!"
Nala came into the shelter very young, and was raised by foster moms Lorelei and Jess. Her adopter, Ivan, just can't get over how well-behaved and "all knowing" she seems to be. She found just the right home. Nala we will miss you, you are truly a one of a kind pup!
