Safety First events help educate the community about public safety with dogs. The events teach responsible pet ownership, education for children, free and low cost spay/neuter services, vaccination clinics, and public incentives for responsible dog ownership. Safety First promotes responsible pet ownership, and penalizes reckless owners, creating a compassionate community. Keep a look out for the next event!
Girls From Placer Elem Make a Huge Difference! Tracy and her friends at Placer Elementary hosted a garage sale and back sale for our homeless animals and donated over $400 to A New Hope! This wonderful group of girls also collected soccer balls, food, toys, blankets and other goodies on our wish list! Thank you so much to Tracy and her friends! We're so proud of all of you!
Prizes, custumes, and photos! Is anymore explanation needed? Woofoween was hosted by Trends-n-Treats in Fair Oaks and featured photo sessions, pet spas, and gift cards for prizes. Even with the wonderful prizes, the costumes were the main event, ranging from creatively dramatic to hilarious. Everyone had a great time with their dogs, and all proceeds went to benefit animals in need at A New Hope.
